Newport Beach to Zion

The Lord lead Brian and I to two oncology centers that would accept self-pay and/or Christian Health Ministries, our shared health program (an insurance-alternative).

Today, we head to Dallas to catch a plane for Newport Beach, CA. We have a consult with Hoag Family Cancer Institute on Wednesday at 12:40 p.m. Next week, we travel to Zion, IL to meet with City of Hope on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. City of Hope purchased Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where my mom sought treatment.

After reading the medical summary from my oncologist in Mexico, I believe I may not be a candidate for a hysterectomy. Though I am not a doctor, there looks to be three areas that may have some penetration outside of the surrounding muscle. But of course, medical advances are happening every day, so there is a possibility.

While in CA, a friend of mine recommended I call Center for New Medicine for an appointment. They use integrative, holistic, and modern techniques to fight cancer. Surprisingly, the timing of my call could not have been better. They had a cancellation, so I have a consult at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday before I head to the airport. Then I will return soon to complete their ten-day evaluation.

The best news is that the bleeding has nearly stopped. With continuing to take iron, I hope that my next blood report comes back with all the anemia markers (which help produce red blood cells) nearly back to normal.

Prayer Requests:

1.     God reduces the tumor, and I am healed.

2.     God grants us guidance in all three consultations.

3.     The Lord directs our next steps.
