My Story

My mom had recently passed away and I struggled with the emotions that came with losing her. During that time, though, I kept remembering how she faithfully sat at the kitchen table with her coffee, The Daily Bread devotional guide, and God's Word...every single day. Wanting that same peace for myself, I decided I would follow her example.

In the very first devotional, God led me to Ephesians 6, and prompted me to "Take up the Sword of the Spirit." As I studied that passage and others, I realized that I wanted more. So, I began memorizing Scripture, and what an impact it has had on my life, as well as the lives of others.

I have since memorized 33 books of the Bible. God continues to bless me and strengthen my ability to understand His voice through His Word, and I want to share that with others.

“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. And there I will give her her vineyards
and make the Valley of Achor a door of hope.
And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth, as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.

My Mission

God is working today, through the Scriptures that were written thousands of years ago. In order to fully see how He is working, we need to gain clarity and understanding of the Scriptures themselves. My goal is to make the Bible more tangible today, by bringing it alive in unique and powerful ways that will surely empower God's people to live a life in accordance with His Word.

I've found creative and profound ways to make the Bible more applicable and interesting, including a Wisdom Art Gallery, Scripture Memorization Workshops, and our Steeping Tea events. Together, we can capture the influence that the Bible has on society, grow in a deeper understanding of His truth, and become more excited and energized to study, memorize, and to apply God’s word to your every day.
