Destination: Mexico

My cup overflows with blessing from the prayers, gifts, and encouragements that has come my way, especially since this diagnosis of cancer. Today (Sunday), I am on my way to Mexico, and then on Monday, Hope4Cancer with complete their evaluation and begin treatment.

When I walk into the care facility on Monday, I will have each of you on my heart—perhaps not by name, but by what you represent: strength, courage, determination, peace, tenacity, and joy. Many people have written emails, texts, notes, and letters that speak to our friendship, Brian and I’s decision for treatment in Mexico, my memorization of God’s word, and God’s power to heal. What wonderful friends God has surrounded me with here on earth.

Below is a sampling of the encouragement that has come my way:

Thank you so much for sharing your life-altering trial with me. I am sorry I haven't written back until now. 

Your email hit me, stunned me, and I processed it as best I could. I've been praying for you, Brian, and your family ever since. I've been slow to reply, in part, because I don't have any words. I would've never guessed you were traveling this road…a testament to your peace-filled faith and godliness. 

I'm very grateful for knowing your situation, treatment plan, and next steps. It helps me, my family, and CG pray for you in specific, timely ways over the next six months. Thank you.

I can only imagine how all your scripture memory has shined spectacularly in heavenly ways, with light beyond measure, on this earth as you have communed with our God, King Jesus, and the Holy Spirit these past weeks and months as in Revelation 8:4. 

You're an all-star person, mom, wife, friend, and Christian, Tammy. Know you are—as does anyone who knows you—even now, serving, obeying, and living God's will in your Christ-like spirit through this trial. You will be victorious because you are already victorious in him. 

Praying prostrate for your healing and strength this morning. Praying for safe and hassle-free travel to Mexico, loving, expert medical attention, and an all-encompassing peace and conqueror’s spirit in Jesus' name. Praying the God of hope fills you with all joy and peace as you trust in him. 

Who cannot have strength, courage, hope, joy, and peace when friends like you encourage and pray for me. May God be given glory for what he has been doing and will do!

Lastly…. wow!  Treatment in Mexico is almost paid. If you haven’t looked, the total given is $54,665 out of $61,000. What an impact you all are having on Brian and I (and my whole family). ( https://www.givesendgo.com/TammyLeaFabian )
