Many of you know that since we decided to treat cancer alternatively, our insurance will not pay for the bulk of the cost. Our friends and family have contributed, however, which to me is far richer. I have kept a record of our healthcare expenses to share. You trusted that we would spend the funds as intended, thus I wanted to provide for you an account of that trust (as of March 31, 2026).

In the chart below, I grouped expenses together with descriptions. I then subtracted out the monetary gifts sent. The last number is the amount that has come directly out of our pocket. I’m still amazed at the generosity of our friends and family, and I am so thankful for the financial support you have given in addition to prayer.

Some might ask why the personal cost is sizable. Our last visit to Hope4Cancer in early March generated an additional bill for $11,000, due to adding in the Davida protocol and extended the Sunivera Immunotherapy for three more months. We felt it was the right thing to do as the tumor itself had shown growth, though my health in general had improved.

Next week I will have bloodwork taken and hope to provide you with a health update after the results come back.
